He is the pioneer of the establishment of the Solid Waste Laboratory (now the Solid Waste and B3 Laboratory) in the corner of Sasana Budaya Ganesha ITB (Sabuga ITB). The laboratory is the first and only laboratory and Waste Management Center (PPS) in Indonesia on the scale of a state university. Thanks to the PPS, ITB can manage its own waste and does not depend on the Sanitation Department. Garbage, an unpopular topic for most people, has become daily food for Dr. Enri Damanhuri.
